To celebrate National Walking Month in May 2018, we are teaming up with St Davids Walks to offer exclusive guided walks around St Davids, Britain’s smallest city.
Experienced guide, Peter Hellon, owner of St Davids Walks, is as passionate about the local history and legends, as he is about the beautiful landscape of the peninsula and will impart his vast knowledge during the walk. As a regular crewmember on Falcon Boats, who offer trips around RSPB Ramsey Island, located just off the coast, he will also share his wildlife knowledge.
Peter fell in love with Pembrokeshire when he first visited 45 years ago and over the intervening years has been regularly drawn back, until finally succumbing to its allure and moving to live in St Davids just a couple of years ago. Rather than keeping that passion and knowledge to himself, he prefers to share it with visitors to this stunning corner of Wales.
The two-hour walk will begin at Twr y Felin Hotel and include Oriel y Parc National Park Visitor Centre, the Cross Square, St Davids Cathedral and St Davids Bishop’s Palace.
Walks are available exclusively to our guests on Sunday May 6th and Sunday May 20th 2018.
