Coastal Foraging Experience

Coastal Foraging Experiences
with partner West Wales Coastal Foraging

Includes a two night luxury bed and breakfast stay and a one day foraging course with West Wales Coastal Forgaing based on two guests sharing.

Indulge in two nights luxury bed and breakfast accommodation at one of Wales’ three leading boutique venues; former windmill Twr y Felin, 12th century Roch Castle or the perfect retreat, Penrhiw Priory, before joining expert coastal forager Craig Evans for a day of discovery on the Pembrokeshire Coast.

Explore the beach and rocky shore, or tidal mud flats and estuaries to learn about the marine environment and uncover edible sea-food, where to find or catch it and enjoy an insight into local history at the same time.

After you have found your foraged ingredients, from mussels to plants and crabs, you will be able to cook up a feast with your rich culinary pickings right there and then on a hand-made Solva Stove (a.k.a. Swedish Candle).

Coastal Foraging Experience - From £60 per person
Discover sea vegetables and shellfish, learn about the seashore environment, then forage and learn about the wonderful sea life that West Wales is renowned for.

Extreme Low Tide Course (only available 12 to 14 times each year) - From £100 per person
In addition to the Classic Course, because the tidal range is more extensive, much more of the lower shore is exposed, leading to the potential of discovering deep-water species.
