We are looking for experienced Chefs to join the team as a Chef de Partie, mainly based in Twr y Felin Hotel, although there may be occasions when you need to support at our sister properties. Your duties will be to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef. To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required. To control stock levels, and ensure that all food to is used appropriately at all times. You will be expected to help support and develop the team and to help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes You should be able to liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.

We are currently recruiting for Kitchen Porters to join our Kitchen based at Twr Y Felin Hotel in St Davids. Taking instructions form the Head Chef, you will take a hands on approach to help support them in the preparation of the incoming orders whilst ensuring a clean and organised environment for the chefs to work in.

Main Duties

  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Clean all equipment to exceptional standards
  • Help maintain strict health and safety, and food hygiene standards
  • Assist with any incoming deliveries and assist the stock rotation of storage units where required
  • You may be required to assist at our sister hotels, Penrhiw and Roch Castle on occasion

We are recruiting for a Commis Chef to join our busy kitchen in Twr y Felin's 2 Rosette Blas Restaurant, in St Davids.

Duties Include:

  • To support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen.
  • To implement, train and maintain the standards set with the guidance of the Head and Sous Chef.
  • To assist in the smooth and effective running of the kitchen department.
  • To ensure that all food is prepared, stored and disposed of to the standard required.
  • To help with the development of the menu and suggest dishes
  • To control stock levels, and ensure that all food to is used appropriately at all times
  • Ordering and receiving of food goods, in accordance with monthly budgets to include the control of stock, and Health and Safety compliance.
  • To liaise and communicate with other departments

As Commis Chef you are always working on behalf of our guests and working with other team members. To successfully fill this role, you should ideally have:

We are expanding our team at the 2 Rosette Blas Restatrant in Twr y Felin.

You will be responsiible for ensuring a high level of breakfast service for the guests at Twr y Felin. The sucessful applicant must be able to work using their own initiatives and be self motiovated.

We are expanding the Housekeeping Team at Twr y Felin and are looking for an Assistant Head Housekeeper to join the team.

Working alongside the Head Housekeeper your duties will include:

  • Successfully supervise a team of Housekeepers at Penrhiw Priory/Roch Castle.
  • Work closely with Managers at Twr y Felin, Roch Castle and Penrhiw Priory to ensure that the company standards are the same level throughout all venues.
  • Conduct daily briefings to the housekeeping team in the absence of the Manager.
  • Create daily checklists for the housekeeping team and routinely check their completion.
  • Check completed bedrooms with an eye for detail, ensuring they are cleaned to the company standards.
  • Check public areas, corridors and stairways to ensure they are clean and welcoming to guests at all times.
  • Implement, train and maintain company standards throughout the housekeeping team.
  • Ensure the housekeeping department is staffed to maximize efficiency.
  • Control laundry stock levels, and ensure that all laundry is used appropriately at all times.
  • Liaise and communicate with other departments within the hotel to ensure that the guest’s comfort and wellbeing is ensured.
  • Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
  • Work at an efficient pace to ensure guest rooms are completed prior to their arrival

You will be required to work 5 days out of 7 including most weekends and bank holidays.
