Sarah Shaw

Award winning Brighton based artist Sarah Shaw has produced five large paintings, which are now on display in the reception area and include a triptych inspired by the rocky hills of Llanferren, which rise above St Davids city and two larger paintings, born out of the medieval Welsh folk tales of the of the Mabinogion.

The triptych incorporates an amalgamation of the actual landscape, and an imagined landscape, documenting the changing light from morning, to day, to evening; whilst the Mabinogion inspired pieces depict many elements of the Welsh tales, including the an epic exodus from the sea, dragon boats and dragons.
